Who we are

Our name is an homage to the Sitka tree, a species of spruce that is valued for its ability to grow fast in adverse conditions and prosper in areas where few other trees can. Sitka Power's roots, and our competitive advantage, rests in our ability to overcome challenges in pursuit of opportunities. We are ambitious, resilient, and dedicated to the success of our projects.

Trevor White

Trevor’s primary responsibilities are strategy, governance, executive management, corporate, business and project development, and stakeholder relations. Trevor is a previous co- founder of two renewable development platforms and has held several senior management positions over 10-year career within the renewable power and energy industry, focused on corporate, business and project development. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a 2010 Olympian in the sport of Alpine.

Warren Coles

Warren’s primary responsibilities are financial and accounting management, governance and reporting, and corporate development. Warren brings 30 years of broad financial experience in both public and private corporations spanning multiple industries, including remote power, oil and gas, as well as software development. Warren holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Calgary.

Chief Operating Officer

Marc Haugen

Marc’s primary responsibilities are managing the engineering, construction, operations, and management of Sitka’s assets. Marc has 25 years of experience in power generation, power services and heavy industry in three different countries. He has held senior roles at Enmax and TransAlta, where he oversaw design, construction, commissioning and operations of electrical infrastructure, and provided centralized operating diagnostics for reliability and performance on a fleet of 900+ generators with installed capacity of 8GW located at over 30 sites in Australia, Canada and the US. B.Sc. in Engineering from the University ofSaskatchewan.

Chief Commercial and Legal Officer

Cory St. Croix

Cory’s primary responsibilities are managing in-house and external legal counsel, overseeing corporate and project development, and commercial management. Cory brings 20 years of broad commercial energy experience spanning multiple provinces and states. After practicing corporate commercial law privately and in-house for several years, he embarked on a 15-year career in business development with large cap electricity and Oil and Gas companies. During this time, he helped create the first Alberta power auction and negotiated uniquely structured commodity contracts. Cory holds a science degree in Applied Mathematics And a law degree from the University of New Brunswick and is a practicing member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.

Stephen Cardon

Stephen’s primary responsibilities are corporate, business and project development. Stephen has 14 years of experience in municipal economic development, oil and gas business development, and institutional investment research. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Victoria and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Calgary.

Justin Rutherford

Justin Rutherford brings over 20 years of experience as an Operations Manager in the renewable energy sector across North America. He has led large-scale initiatives that improve site performance, streamline operations, and strengthen system resilience. With a background in Mechanical Technology, Justin plays a key role in ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of utility-scale energy across Sitka’s portfolio.

Tobi Agbonifo

Tobi is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations at Sitka Power including cash management and general ledger reporting. With over a decade of experience in finance, engineering, and project management industries, Tobi has a proven track record in budgeting, treasury, financial reporting, and automation. Tobi is currently finalizing both a Master’s in Business Administration and CPA designation.

Swati Rawat

Swati is responsible for overseeing accounts payable and receivable operations at Sitka Power, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely financial processing. With over eight years of experience in book-keeping, reconciliations, and full-cycle accounting across Canada and India. She has supported large-scale operations in industries including food processing, hospitality, manufacturing, and corporate administration, delivering accuracy, streamlined processes, and strong cross-department coordination.

Dheeraj Jayachandra

Operations Analyst

Dheeraj Jayachandra

Dheeraj’s primary responsibilities are streamlining operational and financial data reporting, automating workflows, and driving process improvements across Sitka Power’s renewable-energy assets. He specializes in data engineering, analytics, and scalable automation for business operations. Dheeraj holds a Master of Applied Computing from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science.

Natalie Gorshenina is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 15 years of experience in financial reporting, strategic planning, performance management, and financial modelling. At Sitka Power, she oversees financial reporting, cash management, and audit coordination across a growing portfolio of renewable energy assets. Natalie enjoys building efficient processes, supporting collaborative teams, and contributing to a more sustainable future.

Sam Langleben

Sam Langleben is the President of Long Life Capital Inc., a strategic advisory & investing firm focused principally on energy transition related infrastructure. The firm works with long-term investors to develop and execute on value enhancing strategy across their portfolios. Prior to founding Long Life Capital, Sam worked at PSP Investments for four years on their Infrastructure Investments and Corporate Strategy teams. Prior to PSP Investments, he worked at CPP Investments for seven years on the Infrastructure and Power & Renewables investment teams, and in Power & Utilities investment banking coverage at JP Morgan Securities Inc for two years. Sam earned a Masters in International Energy Policy Management from Columbia University’s School of International & Public Affairs, and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.

Terri-Lee Oleniuk

Terri-Lee is a Partner in McCarthy Tétrault’s Business Law Group in Calgary and advises proponents, developers and investors on regulatory strategy, approvals and risk management for complex energy and infrastructure projects across Canada. Her practice focuses on regulatory, environmental and Indigenous law, including environmental assessments, tribunal proceedings and matters involving tolls, tariffs, investigations and inquiries. Terri-Lee has deep experience in the power sector, supporting electricity transmission and generation projects – including hydroelectric, solar, wind and battery energy storage – alongside work in oil and gas, pipelines, LNG, mining and midstream. She regularly advises on ESG considerations and negotiates agreements with Indigenous groups, helping clients address consultation, partnership and long term relationship objectives in a practical, commercially informed manner. Terri-Lee is admitted in Alberta, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories, holds a Bachelor of Science (Physiology) and Juris Doctor (with distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan, and an Masters in Law in Energy and Infrastructure Law from Osgoode Hall Law School.
