The Timmins Mountjoy Solar Project’s proposed design capacity is 30.01 MWdc and is located outside the Township of Timmins, ON. The municipal address is 715 Dalton Road, Timmins, Ontario. Timmins received its Municipal Support Resolution from The Township of Timmins to submit a proposal for IESO LT2(e-1) RFP.
The Project will seek local farmers to graze their sheep herds, thereby improving land biodiversity through natural weed control. Bee hives will be added to the land enhancing pollination, improving soil health, and increasing crop yield.
