The Perth Solar Project’s proposed design capacity is 12.19MWdc and located in the Township of Drummond/North Elmsley, Lanark County. The municipal address is 908 Churchill Road, Perth, Ontario. Perth received its Municipal Support Resolution from The Township of Drummond/North Elmsley to submit a proposal for IESO LT2(e-1) RFP.

As part of Sitka’s sustainability efforts, we will look for opportunities to introduce agrivoltaics onto the site which is likely to include sheep grazing and beehive hosting.

Provide annual tax revenue to local and provincial governments over the life of the Project.
Provides community benefits revenue to local government and First Nation land the Project is located on.
Create local employment and contracting opportunities during the development, construction, operation, and decommissioning phases of the Project.
Increase revenue to local businesses due to economic spinoff from Project activities.
Produce emission-free electricity that will both increase energy security and displace generation from fossil fuels, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
